Pebble Portfolio presents highly decorative animals, birds and fish, painted on carefully chosen and prepared beach pebbles. Each piece is totally original and the result of many hours of detailed
brushwork, creating visually imaginative, three dimensional designs.
These heirloom artworks have been created by artist Richard (Ginger) Tilley who has worked professionally as an illustrator, graphic designer and painter for nearly 50 years. His work is influenced by both folk and naive art and his paintings are in many private collections throughout the world.
Each pebble is hand-painted using gouache watercolour pigment and finished with several coats of protective varnish so that with careful handling they are both scratch and waterproof and beautiful to hold.
A limited collection is available for sale, priced between £100 and £300 and Richard is happy to consider commissions.
